UPDATE: Dbrand has just listed the Nintendo Switch 2 Killswitch on its website. Orders will begin shipping on June 16th and those that already have a reservation will be prioritised, but anyone can order now. The company has also revealed a screen protector as well as a bunch of awesome skins that can go over the Joy-Con controllers.
It comes in three different variations but you can also split them out individually or even buy the items without the case if you see fit at the below prices:
ORIGINAL STORY: Dbrand has revealed the Nintendo Switch 2 Killswitch and it’s absolutely it’s best one yet. After releasing models for the Steam Deck, ASUS ROG Ally and Lenovo Legion, the Switch 2 version absolutely takes things to the next level.
It adds a sturdy case to the back of your Nintendo Switch 2 that allows your Joy-Con controllers to still disconnect complete with providing a more ergonomic shell to make the improved Joy-Con controllers even more comfortable.
It also still lets you access the kickstand as well. There’s also stick grips that you can put over the analogue sticks as well.
It also comes with a dock adapter that lets the Switch 2 sit outside of the official dock whilst still maintaining the 4K/60FPS and total OEM cooling as well.
Just like other Killswitch cases, it comes with a travel cover that is crush-proof, and it’s also transparent because it comes with a game card holder that snaps between the travel cover and the Switch 2 so that you can see all of your games, which is super handy.
The Killswitch 2 launches in June 2025. As of right now, you just have to place a $3 (USD) deposit and it appears as though you’ll be able to customise it based on wether you want the case, dock adaptor, game card holder and travel cover.
