Sony has just revealed it’s long-awaited follow up to the Sony XM5s in the Sony XM6 noise cancelling headphones and there’s a huge focus on gaming this time around with the Sony INZONE team creating a gaming EQ setting. 642vq
The Sony XM6 noise cancelling headphones come in Black, Platinum Silver and Midnight Blue and will release on June 16th or $699.95 AUD. They’re up for pre-order now at the below links:
The new flagship noise cancelling headphones includes 30 hours of battery life with a 3 minute charge providing 3 hours of battey life, improved 12-microphone adaptive noise cancelling which is apparently much improved on the XM5s as well as an ultra-clear microphone for calls as well powered by the new QN3 processor.
The headphones have been tuned with engineers behind the likes of Taylor Swift, Rihanna and Bob Dylan and there’s now a 360 Reality Audio mode as well as custom EQ settings for gaming and mobile entertainment.
As far as the design of the headphones go, they now fold down and there’s a seamless folding case that uses magnetics to close and is thinner to slot into airplane pockets.
